G4S Secure Solutions, the UK and Ireland’s leading security solutions provider, is taking a stand (Stand 1) at the forthcoming CNI 2010 conference to be held at The Britannia International Hotel, Canary Wharf, London, 9 March 2010.
The conference, which last year attracted in excess of 300 delegates, promises to be the must attend Critical National Infrastructure event of the national security calendar, providing an ideal opportunity for delegates to exchange ideas on security issues, technology trends and developments and general best practices. Speakers include Lord West, Parliamentary Under-Secretary for Security and Counter-Terrorism, Liz Siberry, Director of the Centre for the Protection of National Infrastructure and Crispin Blunt MP, Shadow Minister for Home Affairs and Counter- Terrorism.
David Taylor-Smith, CEO of G4S Secure Solutions (UK & Ireland), who will be addressing a session on the private sector’s role in safeguarding CNI, commented: “I am very much looking forward to attending this key event. As security threats continue to expand, both at home and internationally, the protection of CNI has become an important area in which the public and private sectors need to work more closely together. I believe CNI 2010 will provide an important forum for Government to engage further with the commercial sector, which already funds, owns and operates much of our critical infrastructure.”
