Following on from the recently announced agreement between IPSA and SAFE to work closely on the development of training in the sector, IPSA has announced that it will add the SAFE BTEC Supervisory Management programme at level 3, and the new SAFE BTEC Security Risk Management programme at level 4 to its own training calendar. The courses will be run by IPSA trainers, using licensed materials provided by SAFE. ‘The issue of the training offer from IPSA has been a high priority for IPSA as we have been developing the strategy to strengthen and grow IPSA’, said Justin Bentley, Chief Executive of IPSA. ‘We are keen to ensure that the IPSA training programme adds value for students and is recognised as being of the highest quality. The relationship that we have established with SAFE provides a very strong foundation to this objective and we look forward to launching the new programmes’.
