The Institute of Risk Management (IRM) is pleased to announce that it has accredited the Certified Security Consultant (CSC) course offered by security services company Anubis Associates Ltd. IRM accreditation is achieved following a detailed review of the course against current risk management standards and good practice by a qualified IRM reviewer.   The CSC course is a unique management training programme that is already accredited by Buckinghamshire New University and Skills for Security. It is aimed at those employed, or who seek to gain employment, at a management level within the security industry and provides individuals with a broad, risk based, understanding of security consultancy services, enabling them to effectively manage a range of security functions, and consult at the highest level within any organisation.   Carolyn Williams, IRM’s Development Manager, said, “Effective management of security risk is increasingly important in today’s world.
