They cover subjects and individuals including the secretive German Etappendienst intelligence organisation; the International Brigade Association, whose members fought in the Spanish Civil War in the 1930s; Marina Lee, a blonde German spy described as languid, beautiful and "very dangerous"; German plans for the invasion of Britain; Juliet Stuart Glaser, an American Communist who may have fallen foul of Stalin's purges; and MI5's liaison with the US-based British Security Coordination organisation during the Second World War.
