Skills for Security has announced that the Minister of State for Northern Ireland, Paul Goggins MP, will once again be presenting at this years Skills for Security Conference, sponsored by City & Guilds. Mr Goggins whose responsibilities include security and policing in the six counties, will be updating the Northern Ireland delegates on current developments of licensing and the future of the security industry, on 14th October at the La Mon Hotel, Belfast. In accepting the invitation the minister wrote “I would be delighted to speak at your conference which I am sure will prove to be a timely opportunity to engage with industry representatives.” Other speakers at this conference include SIA Director Hazel Banks, Nuala Kerr, Skills Director at DEL and Patricia O’Hagan, Managing Director  of Core Systems.
