OCS has recently expanded its security sales team with three business development managers who will build on the Group’s strengths and increase opportunities, particularly in the retail and commercial sectors.  The addition of Paul Champion, Chris Gadd and Malcolm Steadman to the team demonstrates the Group’s commitment to employing the best people who will develop integrated security solutions to meet evolving customer demand and will strengthen OCS’ presence in the London, South East, West and Central areas.  Paul Champion has 20 years’ experience in the electronic security industry and specialises in IP technology and integrated solutions; Chris Gadd has worked in electronic security for 25 years, the last 7 of these as an Area Sales Manager for ADT Fire and Security, and has wide experience of working in the public sector; Malcolm Steadman’s career in electronic systems has spanned 20 years with particular expertise in national and corporate accounts. Michael Webb, OCS operations director for security, welcomed the new appointments saying, “This will strengthen the Group’s strategy to increase its share of the security market and we welcome the breadth of knowledge and experience that all three bring to the business.  Our business focus is on a new security initiative – SecureSmart.  The unique, six-stage SecureSmart planning model builds a complete picture of each client’s security environment, risks and strategy.  SecureSmart is a more intelligent security solution which amalgamates OCS’ offerings and expertise in electronic security systems and manned guarding, asset and inventory control, confidential waste management and data protection.” Chris, Malcolm and Paul will report to Gareth Evans, UK sales manager for OCS, who joined the security team in March with the aim of heightening the profile of OCS as a leader in the security industry and as a provider of service excellence.
