Garda James McKeogh said Keenan was driving the Brinks Allied van on the morning of March 30th, 2005. A co-worker, Eamonn Byrne, was in the passenger seat of the van, which was loaded with 1,889,000 in cash. Keenan admitted his role in the robbery, saying he received 25,000 from the criminals. None of the 1.8 million has been recovered.
