Berkeley Security Bureau (Forensic) Ltd announces a new technical evaluation, specification and tender review service to users and prospective purchasers of CCTV systems. With the latest trends in digital CCTv systems the need for independent advice and 'fit for purpose' evaluations has become all the more important.

This service is based on our extensive experience carry out operational evidential forensic video work, for both the police and defence, together with detailed evaluation of digital CCTV system performance.

The service will be headed by Brian Evans, formerly Head of Technical Security at DeBeersand prior to that responsible for developing the Met Police video unit from its original conception.

This service is not tied to any one solution or manufacturer but aims to provide truly independent advice based on the users own requirements to ensure that imagery produced from the CCTV system is both fit for purpose and evidentially sound.

Once a CCTV system is called upon to provide evidence BSB Forensic can provide a specialist evidential digital download service, image enhancement, enhanced stills production, compilation editing, image analysis, facial/image comparison, tracking, mosaicing and duplication.
