On behalf of Securiplan Plc, Advance Security UK Ltd and Advance Monitoring Ltd

Advance Security UK Limited and Advance Monitoring Limited [Advance] are 100% subsidiaries of Securiplan Plc.

Advance are not subject to any suggestion of regulatory breaches by the SIA.
Advance continues to offer manned security services at the highest level. There is absolutely no question that the companies are in anyway affected in their ability to continue in operation by the order served on Securiplan. The order was obtained without notice to Securiplan.

The SIA has stated that Securiplan and its subsidiaries should survive as independent legal entities.

Securiplan is preparing forthwith an application to return to Court to have the order referred to in the statement of the SIA set aside, that being the first opportunity to respond.
In any event nothing in that order inhibits or in any way restricts the ability of Securiplan/Advance to carry on trading and continuing to serve its clients as it has done for many years.

Advance are, and remain, committed to providing top quality manned security services to their clients in a way that is wholly compliant with the very best of the industry standards.

Editor's Comment:

This is in response to the assets of Securiplan being restrained recently.
The Security Industry Authority made an application for a compliance action under the provisions of the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002.

Southwark Crown Court issued a restraining order on 04 Oct 06 in relation to Securplan and Mr Phillip Ullmann the Group Managing Director.
